New Findings...
I wanted my boyfriend to check out the trail along with amazing million dollar houses so today, Saturday morning we went on a little exploring...

I love how my banana is chillin in the background..hehe
Heirloom tomatoes vary in shapes, sizes, and colors and some look like a mini monstrous pumpkin! Each of them, based on their variety has a unique taste to them. When my mom took a bite of it, she said this is what tomato should taste like and it's the taste she remembered eating while growing up. According to her, tomatoes these days do not taste the same as long time ago. Probably due to waxes, coloring, pesticides, etc... Who knows.
I made a simple salad using the tomatoes, fresh basil, mozzarella cheese and dressed it up with some balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and salt and pepper. It was delicious but I think the best way to enjoy these tomatoes are eating it simple...
Sliced with a little salt and pepper on top!
There's always something new to find and learn each day!

Kayaking @ Long Beach 09.06.2010
On labor day, my girlfriend and I decided to go kayaking at Long Beach. In the beginning of the kayaking, we were paddling but our kayak wasn't moving as far as others are doing it. We were moving like snails while others were moving like a speed boat. Later on we figured out how to get greater distance and speed with the least amount of paddling done. My girlfriend was scared of the kayak flipping over (capsizing) when tiny waves form from boats. I on the other hand was not afraid at all. I did my best to make her not worry because I knew it would be very difficult for the kayak to capsize. The kayaking experience was definitely fun and I would like to do it again some day.

We stopped by Jamba Juice to get 2 shots of 1 oz wheatgrass shot.
Paddling like a pro!
